Quickstart

This walks you through every step from creating your VICIagent account to placing a real AI-driven call. Your trial credit (60 minutes + $5) is applied automatically — there's nothing to buy to finish this guide.

1 · Create your account

Go to app.viciagent.com/signup. Pick a data region (US or EU — locks once you place your first call), accept the Terms, and either sign up with Google/Microsoft or use email + password.

If you signed up with email, click the verification link we send. You'll need to verify before placing real calls (test calls work either way).

2 · Build your first agent

From the dashboard, head to Agents → Create new or use the Wizard for a guided flow. You'll fill in:

• Soul — personality. "Friendly but direct sales rep, no fake hype."
• Mission — what the agent is trying to accomplish on the call.
• Playbook — step-by-step structure for the conversation.
• Knowledge — facts the agent should know. Paste markdown, or use the Replace / Append buttons to import a .txt or .md file. Auto-embedded for RAG retrieval.

3 · Add a phone number

Phone numbers → Add number. Either buy from our inventory (Provided) or bring your own SIP carrier (BYOC). Provided numbers are live in under a minute.

4 · Route the number to your agent

Inbound routing. Each phone number gets an inline "Routes to" dropdown — pick your new agent. Unrouted numbers go straight to voicemail.

5 · Run a test call

Wizard → Test call. Enter your own number, click Call. The agent dials you, you talk to it like a real customer would. Recording lands in Recordings right after the call ends.
